• Maybe if you still have it you could get some recipes from Mr. Katel from Paridise Farms.

• Cut your jackfruit open and remove the pocket of usually yellow flesh( you might be lucky to get a red or organe colored fruit,somewhat rare) and eat. It is a wonderful fruit. something like pineapple, banana and jucy fruit gum all rolled into one. My largest has been 56# I also grow this and other Tropical Asian fruit. I suggest you weat plastic gloves and or rub your hands & knife with cooking oil. Most not all Jackfruit have a white sticky latex. Very young fruit may be cooked and sauced with curry and coconut milk or tomato and onions. Eat with goat or any protein of your choice. richard.
