What's a Design District exhibition space got to do with liquid nitrogen aided cooking?

Everybody has to eat; especially starving artists, moreso ones with money. Food is universal.

Last night, Chef Jeff McInnis from the DiLido Beach Club at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach held a cooking demo and Q&A at Locust Projects (155 NE 38 Street, Miami).

Locust Projects director Chana Sheldon said, "It's part of our series inviting professionals from different disciplines to share their skills.

He talked about some dishes, everyone got to taste the liquid nitrogen creations he made, there were about 45 people, it was a success."

Short Order didn't make it to Locust until the event was over and everybody was cleaning up, but Chef McInnis said, "It was good. It was a lot of fun."
