Sancocho: Where It At?

• I love sancocho. I guess I'll have to wait until your review comes out before I can order a plate. Inquiring minds wanna know, what part of town is the restaurant located?

• Sorry Toasty, no veggie version -- it's a tiny menu. But owner is into using whole grains and such. And I snuck the photo, which is not something I generally do when writing about places, but this was the sort of joint where I could get away with it.

• It almost looks like a regular plate of food w/ broth on the bottom, no holding back on the food there...Do they have a veggie version? And where did the photo come from?

• I'm only holding back divulging where it at because I'm not done reviewing the place -- but next week, I promise, it will be revealed.

• What a tease! Give it up! I love sancocho and ajiaco.

• I don't know where this is but do tell. I love Colombian sancocho.

• It's usually referred to as a "stew", but sancocho varies from country to country and restaurant to restaurant. I refer to this version as a "soup" because of the broth-like liquid. ps-if you're going to stab someone over a soup reference, the proper utensil to use would be a spoon.

• Calling Sancocho soup is grounds for being stabbed with a fork. Sancocho is also a Dominican national dish. I'm just saying
