Michy's Wine Tasting: Zinfandel with Stalin?

​Michy's (6927 Biscayne Blvd., Miami) is presenting a distinctively different wine tasting. For one thing, it will be held on a Saturday afternoon (December 12, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.). And instead of pairing the dozen sampling wines with foods, they will be matched according to the following format:

Flight 1: match 3 white wines to 3 songs
Flight 2: match 3 white wines to 3 pieces of art
Flight 3: match 3 red wines to 3 film clips
Flight 4: match 3 red wines to 3 historical figures

This open forum tasting requires "20 adventurous participants". Price is $55, not including tax. To reserve, call 305-759-2001.
