A Chef's Burger Wynwood Food Truck, That Is A Tasty Burger

A Chef's Burger: premium aged, hand trimmed, freshly ground burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and secret sauce on toasted potato bun.

​A Chef's Burger (330 NW 29th Street) is a Wynwood food truck serving eat in, carry out, and delivery (786-344-5825) of burgers, fries, wings, salads, sandwiches, chili, soups, deserts, and drinks. We drove past the truck, saw the burger banners flying on a hot Tuesday afternoon on a Miami Winter day, pulled an illegal u-turn in the middle of 29th Street, came back through, parked, and ordered up.

A Chef's Burger is run by a guy named Chef, "That's what everybody calls me," who said he started the business like this: "I was sittin' home one day doin nothin' and a friend of mine called another friend of mine and had an empty space next to his business and wanted to do somethin with it. One day, we saw this truck parked by the highway, called the number, talked to the guy, rented it, and the rest is kinda history as they say.

Our deliveries go all over Wynwood, the Fashion District, the Design District, all the businesses, the galleries, everybody.

On a good day I get like 40 or 50 orders. On a bad day I get none.

I been a chef a long time. My whole life."

The Chef's Burger we tried costs 5 bucks alone. Fries and a soda to make it a combo = $7.75, and well worth it. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. The burger was cooked through nicely and still juicy.

A dude named Big Kev was picking up an order as we got there.

​Big Kev says, "I love it. I eat here all the time, I can't even count how many times I've been here. I don't even much go to Macdonalds or Burger King no more."

A Chef's Burger has been up and running for about 4 months. Even the Burger Beast has taken notice. Chef says, "You know that burger guy was over here too, what'siz name? Yeah the Burger Beast was here and put us on his blog."
