Small dinners will again take place at this year's South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Some intriguing ones will be at the Setai
, where chef Jonathan Wright will team with chef Ming Tsai, chef David Munoz Rosillo of DiverXo in Madrid, chef Tim Cushman of O Ya in Boston, and the chef from our own Tropical Chinese Restaurant to cook up Asian small plates such as Malaysian laksa with crab claws, and slow-cooked duck eggs in Peking duck broth. "Asian picnic" will mix smoked pork belly-infused Jack Daniel's with chili syrup and citrus juice. That's a cocktail, by the way, not an appetizer.
All the while, a DJ will spin '70s and '80s disco tunes. Well, no dinner is perfect.
When: February 27, 11 p.m.-2 a.m.
Where: The Setai, 2001 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
