The venerable Elie has made a name for himself for his excellent sandwich, not for lightning reflexes. But the sandwich is worth the wait; intensely flavorful chicken, lettuce, tomato, secret sauce, and French bread combine to great effect at this glatt kosher hole-in-the-wall on the second floor of a downtown minimall.
