Cool Restaurant Interiors: The Lost & Found Saloon
The design is the work of the four founders of Lost & Found, said Ken Bercel, now the restaurant's sole owner.
"We all wanted to have something Western here and we thought Miami needed something fresh," Bercel told Short Order. "We wanted something stylish, Western, comfortable and good."
Everything from the wood hand-carved tables and bar to the wagon wheel lamps hanging from the ceiling and the cow rug hanging on the wall give the place that cowboy vibe. But the décor isn't all the work of its owners.
"Customers give us stuff all the time," said Bercel. Over four years he has collected stuff that his clients pick up in their travels or find in their aunts' garages.
Local people built it, he said. And for that (and for its sinful cookies), we love this place.
