Burger & Beer Joint Offers Fried Food Galore

​Many people who live on South Beach sing the praises of Burger & Beer Joint for its mouthwatering burgers that range from $12 to $39. Hungry patrons crowd the favorite local hideaway off Bay Road in until 5 a.m. every day. Decorated with brick walls and wood booths, the joint is separated into three areas: the B&B restaurant, the B&B lounge, and the B&B sports bar.

The eatery, which has been open less than a year, might be famous for its burgers, but the real star here is all the fried goodness. The menu of fried food runs the gamut from vegetables to desserts. There are French fries, mushroom fries, zucchini fries, onion rings, crispy dill pickles, and even deep-fried Twinkies. There are so many options that your mind will probably explode when you try to decide what item you want to fill your belly.

Fried pickles.

​The tangy fried pickles, which are a bargain at $6, arrived at the table battered and deep-fried to perfection. There was about as much batter as there was pickle, but that just added to the enjoyment of eating these bad boys. Dip them in the buttermilk ranch sauce served on the side and witness the party that will happen in your mouth!

Make sure you save room for the $8 deep-fried Twinkie because you won't be disappointed.  Twinkies are a heavenly treat on their own, but Burger & Beer Joint takes this dessert to a whole new level. The cakes are lightly battered, deep-fried, and served with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce. It's a heart attack waiting to happen, but it is worth every ounce of fat and every single calorie. 

Burger & Beer Joint has perfected its selection of fried comfort food. Whatever craving you have, this place will most likely have the fried vegetable or dessert to satisfy your hunger. Yum!
