Talula at The Water Club, DJ at Essensia, Ortanique at School

​The Water Club is scheduled to open in late May in the former Miami Shooters location in the Intracoastal Mall, on the Intracoastal Waterway (3969 N.E. 163 St., North Miami Beach). The Water Club has undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishing and will seat more than 400 diners in a mix of indoor and outdoor environments, including a 15,000 square-foot waterfront pool deck. Chefs Andrea Curto-Randazzo and Frank Randazzo, owners of Talula Restaurant in South Beach and Creative Tastes Catering & Event Production in Kendall, are on-deck as Executive Chefs & Directors of Food & Catering Operations.

Tomorrow evening, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., The Palms Hotel & Spa on Miami Beach will continue its' Thursday night Bubbles & Beats fun at Essensia Lounge. This means complimentary Prosecco for women, live music for all -- this week by DJ LeeOr, featuring Pelusa on percussion. Essensia Restaurant will be running a special menu for the event.

Chef Cindy Hutson, chef/owner of Ortanique, is holding a cooking master class for sophomore and junior high school students enrolled at the culinary arts program at Robert Morgan High School. The class will offer professional mentoring as Hutson and the students work on three collaborative recipes emphasizing preparation and presentation, and will create dishes for an upcoming fundraiser for The Education Fund on May 14 (7 pm) called "The Art of Found Objects."
