Whopper Bar's Delivery Menu
If you think that Burger King Whopper Bar's no tipping policy on deliveries saves you money, you're right. But it's the wrong thing to do.

Whether the delivery person is a high school kid, a struggling immigrant, or a member of the desperately unemployed, the salary he or she makes is very small -- $8 to $9 per hour according to the manager at the South Beach outlet. And that's before taxes. Tips can only help.

If Burger King executives want to make delivery service attractive, let them take $2 off every delivery charge -- this way the billion-dollar company pays for the promotion, not the sub-minimum wage workers.
