3 oz. dried apricots, chopped
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup slivered almonds
6 bay leaves

For topping:

1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 325C and butter a large casserole for baking.

Heat the butter in a saucepan and fry the onions and garlic until soft and translucent. Stir in the curry powder and turmeric and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat.
