The Hours: Daily, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

The Scene: Those who are not guests at the Doubletree may find going up an escalator to get to a bar a little strange. Once inside, the view of Biscayne Bay makes the semi-awkward voyage worthwhile. Bleu Moon is dark and cozy and lets the light off the bay fill most of the room. The space features a full-wall projection screen, multiple flat screens, a pool table, and an outdoor patio. Some of the TVs featured sports coverage while others flipped through music videos that simultaneously played over the speakers. It seemed like most of the patrons were guests at the hotel, but occasionally a group of friends came into the bar or pool area; this laid-back spot seemed to be their secret hideaway.
The Conclusion: After a long work day it would be nice to grab a drink here and watch the sun set over the bay.
