The weather stinks today. Almost a hurricane. Who said just because the power is out you need to scrimp? In the event of a hurricane-caused power outage, one can only eat so much tuna or canned beans. And we don't even want to bother trying cheeseburgers, sandwiches, (AKA candwiches), or whole chickens in cans. Here are some mostly canned treats to eat when you're bored out of your mind, starving, and tired of rain and no AC.

This can comes with six to eight duck legs packed with fat and salt. It has a shelf life of four years at room temperature (before opening). There's only one problem: You'll need some heat to warm this up, so a gas stove or grill is needed. And you'll need to eat it all in one sitting (smaller cans are available).
