La Camaronera, Sakaya Kitchen Trucks Debut at Arts Festival

The festival will mark the debut of the mobile incarnations of two local favorites, La Camaronera (The Fish Box) and Sakaya Kitchen (Dim Ssam a Go Go). Well-known mobile eats like the gastroPod, Latin Burger & Taco, Yellow Submarine, Jefe's Original Taco & Burger, Feverish Ice Cream and Michael's Genuine's food cart will be present. As will trucks you may haven't heard of yet like Nacho Mama's from Key Largo, Wing Commander, Fireman Derek's Key Lime Pies, Bites on Wheels, and the Rolling Stove. (See the full vendor list).
The Beast told Short Order there will be a few surprises at the festival. Bites on Wheels will prepare a Cuban frita and Sakaya Kitchen will have a secret menu. Oh, but you'll have to find the Beast for the deets on how to order.
The Fall for the Arts Festival takes place Sunday, September 12 from noon to 6 p.m. around the Arsht Center. It is free and aside from food will feature performances by Ozomatli, Palo! and Junkanoo Revue.
