Free Scary Pancakes at IHOP

if this face scares you, better stay indoors.

​This Friday, from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., IHOP will be giving away free scary face pancakes to all kids 12 and under. It's part of a national No Tricks - Just Treats program aimed at, um, bringing attention to IHOP -- as well as shining a light on Children's Miracle Network Hospital "Balloons" will be available for $1, the money going towards CMNH's admirable goal of helping fund children's hospitals.

The oversized pancake handed out will be replete with strawberry nose and whipped dairy eye sockets and lips. Two mini-Oreos and kernels of candy corn will be the tools with which your young one can create a Picasso-like masterpiece. But the important thing to remember here is that a free pancake is a free pancake. If you've raised your children properly, maybe they'll even give you a bite.
