South Beach Wine & Food Festival Tickets on Sale October 25

Get your wallets ready! Tickets for the 2011 South Beach Wine & Food Festival go on sale Monday, October 25.

The festival, which takes place February 24 to 27, 2011, will be celebrating 10 years. Ten years since Lee Schrager took over the one-day wine festival that started at FIU, moved it to South Beach and grew it into what it is today.

To celebrate the milestone, organizers are giving a 10 percent discount on tickets to the Whole Foods Grand Tasting Village the day the tickets go on sale. Whole Foods will also be raffling a pair of tickets to Sunday's tasting at each of nine cooking demonstrations by local chefs leading up to the festival.

Emeril Lagasse and Martha Stewart will host the 10-year anniversary celebration during the festival with "Let Them Eat Cake" - a gathering of pastry chefs and confectioners including the Food Network's Duff Goldman - on February 25. And what best to have with cake than champagne?

Stay tuned for our top festival picks next week. For now know that the popular Amstel Light Burger Bash, the Perrier-Jouët BubbleQ, Wine Spectator's Best of the Best will be back. The Tribute Dinner this year will honor Alain Ducasse. Top Chef judge and Top Chef Just Desserts hostess, Gail Simmons, will be in town hosting the Dolce Brunch with chef Michael White of New York's Alto, Convivo and Marea restaurants. And fans of Top Chef season seven contestants Bryan and Michael Voltaggio will have a chance to cook along with them at the Biltmore Hotel.

Take a look at the full program here and mark your calendar if you're planning to buy tickets for they run out quickly -- though if last year is any indication you may get a second chance to buy if you miss the opportunity the first time. You can also always go to the Whole Foods in Coral Gables for the chef demos and pray for luck. Here's the schedule:
