​The fast growing and perhaps too busy Biscayne corridor welcomes a new hot spot. Lounge 71 at Moonchine (7100 Biscayne Blvd.)

The restaurant has long served Thai, sushi and Vietnamese food. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The new garden lounge spins beats while you sip drinks. You can also expect some guest DJs to host as well as various other special events including the Sunday Asian Buffet Brunch along with live music for $15.95.

Other events include Sizzling Salsa Night on Wednesday and With or Without Him Thursdays, when ladies get a free cocktail from 7-11pm after ordering a sushi roll or entree. This joint also seems to be a good place for happy hour. Not only are there all day drink specials like $5 Stoli cocktails but during happy hour there is $1 sushi. And every roll can be purchased at half price. Pretty sweet.

Moonchine is just another addition to the happening MiMo District where shops, restaurants, lounges and and cultural events are sweeping the area creating an amazing place to visit.

Hopefully this place won't disappoint and it won't be all talk and no bite.
