Coral Gables@Home Tour of the Kitchens This Saturday; Peak and Eat

​Want to check out swanky homes while noshing on delectable treats made by some of the Gables' favorite restaurants? This Saturday CoralGables@Home hosts the second annual Tour of the Kitchens.

It all kicks off with a tour of Snaidero Showroom, where certified kitchen designer Julia Johnston gives a quick seminar on universal kitchen design called "Ageless Kitchen" at 11 a.m. and 12.15 p.m. Then, put on your walking shoes and eat your way through five private homes in the North Gables where a different chef will hold court in the kitchen putting out specialties. Participating restaurants include Talavera Cocina Mexicana, Angelique Euro Cafe, Seasons 52 and Pardo's Peruvian Cafe.

TIckets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. All proceeds go to support CoralGables@Home, a non-profit program designed to facilitate the fullest degree of independent living in your own home.
