Culinarium Tonight is the First Food Truck Round-Up With a Full Selection of Booze

​Another food truck round-up? You don't say! However, Culinarium, launching tonight, seems to be the first mobile food event in Miami to combine a food truck rally with live DJs and bands (which a few have already been doing), and a full bar offering. (It's probably also the first, of course, to operate under a high-falutin', club-style event name which really adds the Miami touch.)

It's a wise business move -- entertainment means people will stick around longer, and booze, of course, will make them hungry for even more munchie food. It'll also make for an average Joe's glimpse into the fancy venue, a tropical mansion on NE 17th Street that's only open as a special events venue. Twitter talk indicates Culinarium will boast about a dozen trucks. Trucks who have publicly announced their participation so far are Dim Ssam a Gogo, Sugar Rush, the Fish Box, Jefe's Original, Churro Mania, Latin Burger, Gastropod, Ms. Cheezious, and Cheeseme.

Beyond the food, though, the live music planned features some of Miami's most top-notch singer-songwriter types: Sol Ruiz, Jacob Miller, and guitar whiz Fernando Perdomo's band Dreaming in Stereo. They're all super-talented, but may sound even better after you visit the full bars promised as well.
