I've been to both events on Thursdays and I can clearly say that the American Legion lawn is a much better (BTTR) fit for people to enjoy the wonderful food that is sold as far as energy and safety is concerned again AL plus the fact that beer & wine is served live music. I live in the area for some time and 81st & Biscayne has had its share of crime and yes panhandlers every day and night thats why the stores are all empty. I first thought that the search lights were from the strip club (great family atmosphere "wayy hotter")

I beg to differ.. street food court at BP had wayyy better food trucks... and crowd was hotter and energy was great! I'll def be back to biscayne.

I thought the trucks at both events were pretty comparable.

If you like eating in a dirty parking lot surrounded by panhandlers and empty storefronts look at the pictures eating on the cement, this food court looks as though it was conceived out of desperation the shopping mall is surely depressed I'm sure these wonderful trucks can find a better option I'll wait till they come to a more comfortable location where I don't have to worry about my car being broke into!!

clearly you were not at this event...panhandlers? are you kidding me? the trucks that were at biscayne are the top rated trucks in miami and everyone knows that. the surroundings were well lit, comfortable, and security made sure the truck vendors and guests were all having a safe and good time. plenty of parking also.. kudos to the organizers. also i didnt have to veer off of biscayne blvd into some dark neighborhood to find the place. the search lights were a great locator. anywho, it's tru biscayne plaza needs some work but we all had a good time either way.

I checked out both the Biscayne Plaza Food Court and the Biscayne Triangle Truck Round-up (@ 6445 NE 7th Avenue) last night. Both were good, but I liked BTTR better. BTTR had a nice open grassy area and live music. Also, BTTR had a great selection of beer and wine!
