What Your $225 SoBe Wine & Food Festival Ticket Can Really Buy

The Grand Tasting Village
No doubt, the South Beach Wine and Food Festival is the premiere event for foodies in Miami and around the world. Each year, tens of thousands of well-coiffed foodies and oenophiles swarm South Beach for a chance to sip wine, nibble on the finest foods and chase down Rachel Ray's autograph.

The price of admission doesn't come cheap. A day pass to the Grand Tasting Village will cost you $225 a person. That does allow you unlimited access to all the cooking demonstrations, entertainment, food, wine and booze at the GTV (not to mention a cool souvenir wine glass on a handy-dandy necklace), but we wondered exactly how much food and drink you would have to consume to get your $225 worth. We decided to compile a list of what a $225 fantasy festival of food and drink would look like, touring some of Miami Beach's most popular places.

Shake Shack
Shake Shack's burgers will be featured alongside many other more "high-rent" versions at this year's sold-out Burger Bash. Try the "Shake Stack", both a cheeseburger and 'shroom patty with lettuce, tomato and Shack sauce. Price: $8.75

Raleigh Hotel Martini Bar
The Raleigh Hotel's Martini Bar is a hidden gem in the lobby of the Art Deco classic Raleigh Hotel. Order the Frida, made from Tequila Ocho Silver, fresh lime juice, homemade hibiscus-infused syrup, freshly cut watermelon. Price: $14

The Forge
One of the best wine bars in Miami Beach, The Forge has over 80 wines by the glass. This is a great place to have your own mini wine festival. The Wolf Blass 2006 Gold Label Shiraz has raspberry, pepper and floral notes. Price: $9.30/glass

Up the ante with a glass of Napa Valley Duckhorn Merlot. This wine has hints of plum, spice and raspberry. Price: $18.40/glass

BLT Steak
Dine Al Fresco at BLT Steak and watch the comings and goings at the Grand Tasting Village across the street. Enjoy a grilled Kobe skirt steak salad served "Asian style" with a Crockett & Tubbs. This neon pink cocktail is named after the TV cops that put Miami back on the map in the '80s and features Grey Goose vodka, POM Wonderful juice, prickly pear puree and fresh lime. Total price for lunch: $44

Setai
The Setai's Chili Passion is a truly delicious cocktail. Made with Captain Morgan pasion fruit-infused rum, ginger, orange and cranberry juice and garnished with red chili seeds, the Chili Passion is a perfect cool-off after a hot day walking around South Beach Price: $16

Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante
Escape the beach crowds at Sardinia, located on the quieter bay side of Miami Beach. Open a bottle of Primitivo Ognissole, rich in berries and earthiness and enjoy with a platter of Italian salumi and formaggi, all freshly sliced to order on Sardinia's authentic butcher slicers. Total price: $81

Hofbrau Beerhall Miami
What better way to walk off all this food and wine than with a stroll down Lincoln Road. Of course you're going to want some refreshments for your walk. Grab a "Boot to Go", a plastic souvenir boot filled with Hofbrau's light ale. Price: $15

Ice Box Cafe
Assuming you're still alive, you're going to need dessert. Ice Box features a split bottle of Heidsieck paired with a slice of cake. Choose the Coconut Butter Cream Cake, one of Oprah's favorites. The yellow cake is soaked in coconut syrup, frosted with Italian buttercream and topped with coconut. Price: $17

Total cost for this day of non-stop eating? $223.45 (gratuities and emergency room bill not included).
