Mardi Gras celebrates the day before the start of Lent, in which Catholics fast and repent for 40 days before Easter. In case you can't make it to the Big Easy, we've found five places where you can celebrate Fat Tuesday right here in Miami.

Fat Tuesday

If you're going to celebrate Fat Tuesday, what better place to go than...Fat Tuesday. The Coconut Grove and South Beach locations will celebrate the day with beads, music and booze, booze, booze. Known for their slushie drinks made with 190 proof grain alcohol, Fat Tuesday is a perfect place to find girls willing to show off their goods in exchange for beads. Coconut Grove Location Ste 260, 3015 Grand Avenue, Miami; 305-441-2992
Miami Beach Location 918 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach; 305-534-1328

The Fish House

The Fish House will host an old-fashioned cajun crawfish boil tonight. A few thousand mud bugs will sacrifice their lives so you can suck the juice out of their little heads along with an icy-cold beer. Live music and beads round out the Mardi Gras revelry. 10000 SW 56th St., Miami; 305-595-8453

The Alibi

The Alibi, located inside Miami Beach's Lost Weekend, will celebrate Fat Tuesday from 5 p.m. until late with a crawfish boil, traditional king cake, poboys, and beads. DJ Sideways will sping NOLA funk to pump up the jam on this party. 218 Española Way, Miami Beach; 305-674-3448

STK Miami

STK Miami will celebrate both its one-year anniversary and Fat Tuesday with a Mardi Gras-themed event. Enjoy free cocktails from 7 to 9 p.m. Festivities will also include a bead toss, confetti, scantily clad girls, and DJs Sid Vicious and Rico Delargo. 2377 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-604-6988

The Three Stooges Cigar Lounge

New Orleans' own Loyola University will hold a Mardi Gras party for alumni, friends, and family tonight at 7. The $15 admission includes hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, and king cake shipped in from New Orleans. Click here to purchase tickets. 2911 Grand Ave. Ste. 400-E, Miami
