Burger Beast Kicks Off National Hamburger Month Sunday

​National Hamburger Month begins May 1, and no one is celebrating bigger than The Burger Beast. He's beginning the festivities with "The Battle of the Beast" at Pincho Factory this Sunday.

Competitors will face off in the ultimate burger challenge by attempting to down three "Try Me Tuesdays" specialty burgers as fast as they can. While the exact ingredients are being kept under wraps, possible contenders include the Buffalo Bleu Burger, Furious Texan Burger, and The Foreman. The winner will be crowned Pincho Factory "Foreman" and receive 100 dollars.

The Burger Beast won't be competing himself but is happy to give advice. The key to winning? "Eating Fast, but that's no secret," says the big fella. He plans on testing his own slider eating skills May 15 at Gilbert's 17th Street Grill during an event titled "Beat the Beast." So this could be good practice before you take on the master.
