Get Your Geisha On at Blue Martini

During Blue Martini's Happy Hour from 4 to 8 p.m. today, you can buy a Cherry Blossom Martini created especially for this weekend's festivities for $7, with proceeds going to disaster relief efforts. Other happy hour specials include all drinks and appetizers at half off.

The real fun starts at 8:30 both tonight and tomorrow, when the popular lounge goes all out to recreate the sights and sounds of old Japan with Taiko drummers. Geishas, samurai, and live music and dance. Entertainment is scheduled to begin around 10:00 p.m. and the club stays open until 5 a.m.

A $15 suggested donation will be collected at the door and an American Red Cross representative will be on hand both evenings. Dress in geisha or samurai theme and receive half off cocktails all night long. As Danielle from Blue Martini said, "We're all dressing as geishas for the weekend. Why wouldn't you?"
