His business on Kendall Drive between Dadeland Mall and Town & Country Shopping Center is the location of the Wednesday-evening roundup, which has recently grown.

At first Latin Burger was the only truck, serving food at lunchtime. Others followed suit, and now there are more than a half-dozen trucks dishing out chow from 6 to 10 p.m.

Saks distributed car wash coupons and flyers in the past, but now that spring is here, he plans on staying open later -- until around 8 p.m. -- so people can get both a clean car and a snack. The wash should have extended hours beginning next week.

Trucks serving tonight are Sakaya Kitchen, the Fish Box, Ms. Cheezious, CheeseMe, Sugar Rush, the Red Koi, GastroPod, and Latin Burger. 9750 Kendall Dr., Miami

Cauley Square's first Food Truck Party last week was a success. This is the farthest south the trucks have traveled. The Square has many winding paths for strolling, tables, and live music. A beer and wine garden is open for food truck patrons. Cauley's many eclectic shops -- including an aviary, an aquarium, and several galleries -- remain open during the party.
