This Sunday is Mom's Day. Plan on eating out? Here's a list of Miami restaurants offering Mother's Day brunches and dinners this May 8. (All prices exclude tax and gratuity.)

BLT Steak
1440 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach; 305-673-0044

On the menu: Dinner starts with your choice of diver sea scallop en croute with spring onion puree, snap peas and ramps or poached white asparagus with slow-cooked eggs and frisee salad. Entree choices include a 10-ounce veal loin with ricota gnocchi or pan-roasted cobia with artichoke barigoule and pea shoot salad. And for dessert, choose from strawberry-rhubarb tart with goat cheese ice cream or milk chocolate cheesecake with almond praline ice cream.

Price: $60 per person

Hours: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

db Bistro Moderne
255 Biscayne Boulevard Way, Miami; 305-421-8800

On the menu: A three-course brunch. Choose from appetizers such as chilled cucumber soup and pâté de campagne with shallot marmalade. Entrees include a cumin-scented dorado served, croque madame and steak provençal. On the sweet side, Alsatian rhubarb tart, creme brulee, rhubarb sorbet and passion fruit chocolate cake.

Petit Rouge

On the menu: Mother's Day dinner specials such as roasted baby golden beets and watercress salad, seared foie gras with prune-port wine reduction, American paddlefish caviar, butter-poached Maine lobster with black truffle risotto and dover sole meunier.

660 at the Anglers

On the menu: Family-style dinner featuring fritto misto, "My Mom's Pasta al Horno" (that would be chef Giorgio Rapicavoli's), braised chicken with grapes, olives and creamy polenta. Desserts include rice pudding with mascarpone, peaches and candied hazelnuts.

On the menu: Lobster ravioli with black truffle sauce, caviar and blinis, Long Island duck breast with a ruby orange glaze, along with cooked-to-order waffles, omelets and eggs. Kids can also make Mom a treat at the cupcake decorating station.

Price: $55 per person, plus $10 for bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys, and $25 for children ages 6-15.

Essensia Restaurant & Lounge at The Palms

On the menu: Made-to-order waffles and omelets, gourmet salads, fresh seafood and a carving station. On the sweet side, pastry chef Gail Goetch's cookies, home-made ice cream and tarts. Mom gets a complimentary mimosa.

Price: $59 per person and $19 for kids 12 and under.

Scarpetta

On the menu: Carving, pasta, omelet and desserts stations with dishes like duck and foie gras ravioli and prawns in garlic and parsley. Brunch includes unlimited Bloody Marys, Bellinis and Mimosas.

Price: $75 per person; $37.50 for children ages 4 to 12.

Vida

On the menu: For breakfast, eggs, French toast, pancakes, fruits, breads and more. On the savory side, expect dried aged prime rib, lobster Thermidor, sauteed scallops and duck confit. There's also a seafood bar and unlimited cocktails (Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Bellinis).

Price: $75 per person; $37.50 for children ages 4 to 12.

On the menu: Breakfast classics, a Bloody Mary bar, unlimited mimosas and a kids crafts table where children under 12 can make Mom gifts while she enjoys her meal.

Price: $50 per person; $20 for children 5 to 12.

The National Hotel

On the menu: Pastries, breakfast items, desserts, and pasta, carving and seafood stations. As an extra treat for Mom, brunch guests get access to the hotel's pool for the day.

Price: $39 per person (add $10 for unlimited mimosas); $19.50 for children.
