Catch chef Brian Aaron on Food Network tonight.
Two bits of food truck news for you, courtesy of the food truck grapevine.

Chef Brian Aaron of Aaron's Catering Express teamed up with fellow Miami chef, Andres Barrientos, to film an episode of Food Network's 24 Hour Restaurant Battle. In 24 hours, chefs Aaron and Barrientos must conceptualize a pop-up restaurant, then serve to a group of people, vying against a father/daughter team of farm-to-table foodies. Scott Conant of Scarpetta hosts the show and you can watch the episode tonight at 10.

In other food news, Chef Jeremiah Bullfrog and gastroPod are at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee, where he'll serve food and party with the likes of Eminem, Robert Plant, and Florence and the Machine at this four-day music festival. Miamians still get to enjoy his food, because he left gastroPod2 here in Miami to serve up grub. (Whew!)

Food trucks are serving it up old-school at the 48th Street and Biscayne Boulevard location, behind Publix. No large screen televisions, no DJs, no bounce houses. What you will find is a selection of Miami's best food trucks at a convenient location. Trucks serving from 5 to 10 p.m. include The Rolling Stove, Ms. Cheezious, Miso Hungry and Jefe's Original Fish Taco. 4800 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami
