Though most restaurants would be happy to be known as a restaurant at a luxury beachfront hotel property, Cantina Beach
goes beyond the call of duty.
The restaurant offers a collection of 85 different tequilas. Can't decide? Heriberto Ovideo, the hotel's on-staff Tequilier will provide suggestions. He also offers daily tequila tastings at 6 p.m. to resort guests. (A good reason in itself to plan a "staycation.")
Cantina Beach offers frequent Tequila Dinners, a wonderful way to experience the flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine. Hosted by Mexican-born chef de cuisine, Andres Parlange, the dinner is a four-course tasting menu, paired with three different Herradura tequilas.
At the next dinner, on July 21, guests will be treated to a tasting of a special double-barrel Herradura Resposado tequila crafted specially for Cantina Beach, to commemorate the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne's 10th anniversary.
The Cantina Beach Tequila Dinners are $75 per person with tequila, $55 per person without tequila.
