Brickell Restaurant Boom Continues, Three Additions to One Broadway

Brickell Irish Pub is getting some new neighbors.

​Destination dining continues to boom in the Brickell area, where neighborhood eateries are opening literally on top of each other. The One Broadway complex (also known as 1450 Brickell -- located between Brickell Avenue and South Miami Avenue at SE 15th Street) has announced that three new leases have been finalized, bringing the total dining options up to seven individually operated restaurants.

Original tenants are the preternaturally busy Brickell Irish Pub and brick-oven pizza joint Pieducks next door. The recently opened Sacha's Café will be joined in the fall by a second outpost of Puerto Madero. Additions to the roster now include a deli, a French bistro, and a new spot by the group behind AltaMare in South Beach.

Brickell Deli is from the folks at 100% Natural, a Key Biscayne café with lots of heart-healthy fresh-squeezed veggie and fruit juices, as well as simple Mexican offerings such as chicken tacos; so don't come here looking for a corned beef triple decker. Next there's Dominique's Bistro, a new concept from a Mexican restaurant group that has apparently decided to trade in burritos for Brie. Last, Lincoln Road's AltaMare is proving that along with local Miami Beach favorites such as Jimmy'z, Tapas y Tintos, and La Sandwicherie, the sister-restaurant trend of second locations west of the bay is here to stay. 

Brickell Deli and Dominique's Bistro are taking ground floor space along South Miami Avenue in the One Broadway apartment building. Trigger Restaurant Group (the LLC that owns AltaMare) nabbed prime space fronting Brickell Avenue on the ground floor of the 1450 Brickell office tower. Opening days are still unconfirmed, but the build-outs are in process. Stay tuned.
