Will Michael Schwartz make a surprise visit to Books & Books?

​Books & Books is bringing its cafe and book shop together with a Readers Circle Lunch on Thursday, August 11 at noon at the Coral Gables location.

Entitled: What Are You Reading?, the lunch will give book lovers a chance to share their favorite (or least favorite) stories over a meal.

Books & Books' Cristina Nosti said the lunch is a great way for readers to get to know each other. She also said it has the potential to grow into a book club. "Come with a favorite book or story to share or just come to eat and listen. It's very relaxed," Nosti said.

The cost is $25, which includes a buffet and some free advanced copies of books. We've also been teased with the promise of a few surprise guests. Since Books & Books has every local author (including chef authors Michael Schwartz and Allen Susser) on speed dial, who knows who may show up to the table?
