Miami Spice 2011: Complete List of the Good, the Great, and the Grudging

• We have been at Kane, and it was fantastic. The Spice Menu was delicious, and the staff very friendly!

• We have been at Por Fin and LOVED IT. First, we liked that the restaurant was not treating as the Miami Spice but as a regular guests which some of the restaurants fail to do, well, maybe not the restaurants but the restaurant staff... The portions were generous and the food delicious! 

• Senora Martinez's Spice menu was generous, portions were standard, not shrunken down at all, and the list of options was vast.  That being said, some items are far tastier than others so choose wisely.  A few recommendations: The croquettas, shrimp toast, hangar steak, garbanzo beans, octopus carpaccio, and chocolate bread pudding.  Delicious meal! Avoid the lamb ribs, fatty and bland.

• The Anglers was a disappointment. Short rib risotto entree was so small it couldn't fill a cavity, one hour to receive meal and 2 of the 4 entrees were cold so we sent those back. Our server was in the wrong profession, he would make a better plumber. The bright spot was a free glass of champagne with a Spice meal. We all agreed the best meal was pasta carbanara which was on the regular menu, not spice. 

• Sugarcane menu NOT signature at all and seemed to our group as food for the masses. Shame Shame.

• don't agree about Kane. I had picked that out as a fave. 8 ounce filet option at no upcharge.

• I was at Christy`s last night for the spice,they offer choice of rack of lamb and filet mignon WHAT ARE GREAT DEAL
