Daphne Oz and Our Impression of ABC's The Chew

Millionaire leads into this show in my area - only reason I happened on 2 it.  Recommend they put an apple in Daphne's mouth n roast her 4 Easter like the PIG she is! Reportedly VEGAN which could b true, as that is what they fatten hogs w/ b4 slaughter.  If they r lacking 4 fuel 2 roast her, they can put that guy on the far left (other end from Batali) below her becuz there r inferno-like flames jumping off that guy!  Poster child 4 bone-smugglers!  If u r an avid watcher, I suspect ur family tree looks like a telephone pole!

All of you bitching are just pissed that your shitty soaps finally got pulled. I actually enjoy the show. I'm a stay at home dad at the moment (not because I'm lazy just recovering from a couple rotator cuff surgeries.) and I've learned a lot of cooking recipes and tricks from the show. It's not perfect but it's a hell of a lot better than what it replaced. Carla does need to calm down tho.

They do click together. The show is good. And why do they have to talk about healthyfood just for you no life people? Its people like you that try to control others, if someone wanna eat unhealthy then that's there life not yours. Learn to mind yours and be quiet. They are getting paid which half of y'all responding on here is not

She's a complete moron. That idiot can't even put a lid on a blender without help. And her hair is always hanging in the food. I wouldn't hire her at Dairy Queen let alone a TV show. But since her dad the world's biggest pharma shill BOUGHT her the job, I guess the other hosts that actually have earned the spots have to suffer her 76 IQ.

I have tried to like the Chew as some of the recipes are good. However, Mario and Michael are the only two members of the cast I like. Carla drives me crazy with her giggling and jumping all over the place. As for Daphne, she is only there for the cute factor. She didn't write that book any more than I did. I guarantee daddy dearest was the ghost writer and gave it to her to get her name out there. I have yet to come up with a reason for Clinton to be there.

Why is she eating meat when she claims to be a vegan or vegetarian or whatever?  She's always tearing that meat up like she's starving LOL ! In fact, they all do that!

Love Mario Batali, not quite sure how he got lured on to this show.  Love Dr. OZ too but not so impressed by his daughter.  Carla Hall..... Am i the only one who thought she was a man ?I don't see anything saying she was a man first but I could have sworn I saw an Adams apple.   As for the show.... Awkward comes to mind.  Not Horrific, just Awkward.   

Gosh people r so mean, the show is really cute. They are all great. It just stinks because they had to fill a spot of a soap that was on for a long time. Daphne you are great. Who cares how she got famous she has talent and she deserves it. Jealous meanies!

I don't know how a half greek could stomach a Turk Muslim bitch like Daffy Oz - she has no claim to fame other than being her father's daughter and a Muslim. Gross!

Daphne oz is a phony!!! First off do you notice how she is always hiding from her fat waist down on the show,have you noticed how the camera only gets her body in half shots & how she always hides behind counters & props.She was way fatter before,as a matter of fact she was overweight by 50 pounds!!!!!!!! Well when you have a nutjob as a father,i guess insecurity comes with the territory,she chows down like a pig in heat for a so called 'vegie",what a phony  you are.  keep eating girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How condescending you are! Not all the people who stay at home are @sses, you know. Some of us are as productive members of society as...oh, I don't know...YOU are. Just because we stay at home doesn't make us an @ss. There must be many more good points to the show, or why would your food god (your words) Batali still be there? Maybe you should ask him why he's there. Maybe it's just plain FUN, as well as informative.

I can't believe all the negative comments. Where are the positive ones and don't tell me there weren't any? I find The Chew very entertaining, yes entertaining. Lots of laughs, good recipes, hints and guests, etc. The show is a little of each and brings a nice change to the boring daily talk shows and over and over same news broadcasted. Always depressing things that make it "news". Now talk about a boring, rediculous show watch "The Revolution". Nows that is a show that can go off the air ASAP.Bear in mind that everyone has a right to their own opinions but Daphne Oz, being a Harvard graduate, is more knowledgeable than probably most of you who don't like her. Give her a break, her Dad's name should not even be mentioned because she earned her right to be on the show. Just think the early pilots had her doing the show herself and it didn't do well so then they brought in the others. Be thankful.

I hate this show.  I usually watch the local 12 noon news so I switch channels a few minutes before the news and there it is.  It's just stupid nonsense.  What is with all the characters the y dress up as?  There's no organization .  Is it a cooking show?  A fashion show?  A wannabe comedy show?   Michael Symon simply annoying , he thinks he is funny and that laugh.  Carla Hall and her goofy faces.  Mario with his crocs and shorts?  Sheesh.  Clinton is okay but he says stupid stuff too.  Very cheesy.  And Oz is no expert and she isn't that slim from the waist down.  Big butt and wide hips.  Besides that the show stinks

If the annoying Carla Hall says "I want to hug you" one more time i'm going to take an axe to my television set. And no Mario, I don't want to be Italian. This is the cheesiest, dorkiest, and most useless show EVER. I can't think of anything that could make it more irritating, gets under my skin. I hope it fails, abc deserve that for doing away with soaps. please dont insult stay at home moms, this is junk.

I can no longer watch Daphne Oz...watching her lips move makes me dizzy...it's like putting a movie in Fast Forward.  Is there an OFF button for her?  She talks so damned fast I can't understand a word she says.  I actually like or should say liked this show, before they started with the idiotic skits and stupid games.  The skits are anything but funny...the humor comes from watching them interact with each other...no need to introduce contrived and fake humor.  I'm liking it less and less, but I do love all the hosts, with the exception of Daphne.  Gawd, I can't take her for another minute.

I love this show. I am a stay at home mom and watch it almost daily. I also love to cook, and they have some great recipes and ideas. I say if you don't like it, then don't watch it. It's not very nice to be mean. At least they are happy. Would you want to watch a show where everyone is grumpy?

The show stinks,  most of the time they just talk over each other, Daphne thinkes she knows it  all, Carla OMG how annoying, Mario and Michael they are good cookshow could they get mixed up in something like this, so sad............... Please rethink this format..

it is the stupidest thing thats been put on tv in a while now...take a show off the air thats been on 40 some years to replace it with this grabage?!i personally hope to see it gone soon...

I don't even LIKE soap operas, much less All My Children, but dear GOD this show is garbage.  I swear to god they all act like relatives coming over for Christmas trying to be nice and smiley, even though they don't like you very much and think you're stupid.  That's how they relate to the audience. 

And I gotta add that Carla Hall has got to be the most annoying person I've ever seen on my television screen since Pauly Shore's short lived MTV career ended.

I don't enjoy it at all.  Mario needs to go back to Iron Chef (all cook, no talk).  Daphne Oz says on almost every show I have seen that she doesn't eat meat, but on each of these shows I have seen, she eats meat.  I don't get it.

Its bad, really!! The forced, constant humor is just too much...embarrassing! Michael Symon and Mario Baltali are great chefs and enjoyable to watch on a cooking show, but they have lowered themselves...too bad!! This show needs to go, NOW!!

I personally like oz,, it's Carla Hall that is beyond annoying,, the show needs to be a half an hour for sure!!!

I dvr'd it the first week and a half. I'm done. Daphne Oz is only on the show because her father is famous. That Clinton guy isn't worth watching. He's just filler. I'd rather see Mario Batali and Carla Hall on a show without the other three. I think it ends up being about 30 minutes of content and another 30 of commercial breaks.

Oh I have tried to watch because I love Mario and Carla but I just can't take it anymore.  TOO CUTSY.  Who is Daphne Oz (besides Dr Oz's daughter?

Nepotism at it's finest.  Gee, is that Dr. Oz's kid with a television show and no experience whatsoever?  NEXT.

Bring back the soap it replaced.  I will not watch again.  I like Dr. Oz but all of his daughters and especially this one need to take their Dad's advise on weight control.  These people are talking about healthy eating and look at Mario Batali.  Please he is all about good eating which he is an expert. 

An hour is too long. I would like to see it go to a half hour so we can get the really helpful information without needing to fill in the extra time with unnecessary chatter and nervous laughter. Great hints and ideas just too many people feeling they need to join in on the conversation.
