Who made the cut in Ted Allen's kitchen?
Casting folks came to Miami a few months ago in search of some candidates willing to get skewered by celeb chefs on this season of Chopped, and Short Order has secured a sneak peek of the finalists. However, a company rep requested that we not share the names of the 12 who were on the chopping block just yet so we made a little riddle out of the list.

See if you can figure out who makes up the dirty dozen:
Two chefs have the same first name, but very different hair colors. As a matter of fact, very few people share the same shade as the younger one.

Two of the chefs are behind the line at two of Miami's most flamboyant, over-the-top eateries, both of which are named, The... .

One cooks some pretty popular weenies on wheels and one races motorcycles when he's not searing steaks or avoiding tofu.

One guy's got a great grip on shellfish and another's resto is named after a fisherman.

One's nickname would make you think he's a member of the clergy, while the last guy is probably closer to the Big Guy Upstairs than any of the other contestants.
Think you've figured it out? Post with your guesses!

The shows will begin airing on October 4 and will run through April. Maybe we'll even be able to throw you a little hint about the first contestant.
