Google Offers Comes to Miami With Deals at Joe's Stone Crab, Fandango

Google Offers gets you into Joe's before it opens.

​Google Offers is beta-testing its Miami deal site with an offer for Joe's Stone Crab. Which is unusual, because Joe's is one place that doesn't need to discount or advertise.

Sign up with the site by October 5, and you'll have an opportunity to eat at Joe's Stone Crab four days before the restaurant opens for season. Joe's is set to open October 14 for its 99th season of stone crabs, which is a story in itself.


Google Offers members will be able to partake in a special dinner October 10 from 6 to 9:15 p.m. For $69 per person, diners will get a choice of stone crabs, steak, chicken, or salmon, along with an assortment of sides. All-you-can-drink beer and wine plus key lime pie round out the dinner, valued at $135. 

The deal goes on sale October 5 at 9 a.m. No word on how many deals are available (a Google Offers rep would not divulge the terms of the deal), but Joe's seats about 450 people.

Google Offers has one deal in effect now. For $5, purchase a Fandango movie ticket, worth up to $13. The last time we checked, more than 9,500 people had purchased this deal.
