Bourdain will be back at the 2012 SBWFF
Tickets for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival go on sale today.

If you attended last year's event you might recall Anthony Bourdain's Wheel of Death, Paula Deen riding Robert Irvine, or Guy Fieri making pizzas for one thousand of his closest friends.  Relive these moments and make new memories at the 2012 South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

The festival, which runs February 23-26, is considered the premiere foodie event in South Florida. Tickets for the hottest celebrity-driven events sell out quickly. According to the website, some events, like Paula Deen's Sunday Brunch and the Anta Banderas Winery event hosted by Antonio Banderas are already sold out, possibly due to the American Express pre-sale.

In addition to the Grand Tasting Village ($225) and the Burger Bash, hosted by Rachael Ray ($225), there are some intriguing new events like:

Conscious Bite Out with Geoffrey Zakarian on February 23 ($175) This event, held at Sacred Space in Wynwood, will feature a meal from local, fresh, sustainable, organic produce and locally caught fish.

Diamond Dishes at the new Miami Marlins Ballpark on February 25 ($250) This is your first chance to see Marlins Stadium. The evening starts out with cocktails in the stadium's Diamond Club, then moves to the field where Michelle Bernstein, Scott Conant, Hedy Goldsmith, and Laurent Tourondel will present dishes.

Trucks on the Beach (featuring Miami food trucks), hosted by Andrew Zimmern on February 26 ($95)
The official closing party of the festival, 15 food trucks (most of them local favorites) will serve food along with cocktails and entertainment.

If you're looking for a budget day out at the festival (and care more about the food than the wine), the Fun and Fit As A Family Event at Jungle Island (February 25 and 26) will give you a G-rated taste of the festival with celebrity chef demonstrations and food sampling all for the low, low price of $20 per person.
