Anthony Bourdain and tree on Good Morning America

​'Tis the season to have celebrity chefs on morning television cooking their favorite dishes and making merry with the likes of Kelly Ripa, Kathy Lee, and Robin Roberts. 

This week, two of our favorite chefs made it to ABC morning studios.

Anthony Bourdain visited Good Morning America to plug his No Reservations holiday special, scheduled to air Monday, December 12 with special guest stars Christopher Walken, Norah Jones, The Vegan Black Metal Chef, and Samantha Brown (butt of many Bourdain jokes). He shared some of his favorite foods in New York like meat tubes from Crif Dogs, lox from Russ & Daughters, and pate from Bar Boulud.

Tony also posted some holiday travel tips on the GMA blog like travel prepared for delays with books and games, bring a sweatshirt that you can use as a pillow, and eat like a local.

​Meanwhile, The Dutch's Andrew Carmellini visited hyper-energetic Kelly Ripa as part of her holiday feast week. He showed Kelly and guest co-host Josh Groban how to make Guinness-braised short ribs. Now that's a breakfast we can get into.
