The people over at MadeJustRight.com have teamed up with Whole Foods Market for a vegan holiday bake-off contest that offers weekly plus grand prizes worth $1,400 of spending money at Whole Foods.
But you better hurry if you want to enter, because this is the last week of the contest.
The holiday bake-off is a four-week contest that kicked off November 28, with weeks one-three calling for pie, cake and cupcake entries.
Your mission this week, should you choose to accept it, is to create a kick-butt vegan cookie recipe using at least one of Earth Balance products that includes spreads, nut butters, and soy beverages. And do it by Dec. 23, the deadline for submitting your killer recipe. Whoops! We mean, kind recipe. This is a vegan recipe contest, after all.
Two winners from the weekly contest will each receive a $400 Whole Foods gift certificate, plus some other groovy swag like a bamboo cutting board and a year's supply of Earth Balance products.
The weekly winners, eight in all, will then go on to contend for the grand prize, an additional $1,000 Whole Foods certificate, for a total of $1,400 to go crazy at Whole Foods. Additional prizes consisting of a one-year supply of Earth Balance products will be awarded to winners in the "most creative recipe," "best photos" and "most entries submitted" categories.
Entering is easy. Simply upload your recipe at MadeJustRight.com and wait patiently for the grand prize winner to be announced January 9.
So, c'mon Miami. Time to represent. Get out your animal-friendly aprons and vegan thinking caps and submit those kind cookie recipes. And maybe, just maybe, make your wild Whole Foods fantasy come true.
