Love our local "eco"nomy
For all you people full of local agricultural love there are a few must go events this weekend.

First up is chef Jonathan Gambino, owner of the Three Sisters Farm. He is beta testing private farm dinners on the weekends, for $50 per person. As of today, you can book your own dinner at Three Sisters Farm. Simply email him the number in your party, and coordinate a time and date for your dinner, which comes with a fun farm tour.

We have a feeling this will explode with popularity since so many farm dinners aren't nearly as private as this. To be able to watch the chef prepare you and your friends meal, with ingredients that were gathered all around you is an incredibly unique experience.

Chef John says, "Right now it's still very new, but the dinners are a rustic meal served on an old wooden table under the moonlight surrounded by fruit trees." The dress is casual, and it's suggested you wear shoes you don't mind walking around a farm in.

We can't wait to try his "Classic Caribbean Delights" dinner of: yucca, plantains, callaloo, coconuts and other seasonal delights today.

So that takes care of your Friday and Saturday dinners, but what about Sunday brunch? Paradise Farms has just what you need.

Brunch in Paradise
On Sunday, owner Gabriele Marewski, opens up her gorgeous property to the masses for a brunch in Paradise. Prices start at $15 for children and are $53 for adults. The brunches are cooked by Chef Kira Volz who uses ingredients sourced directly from the farm.

he brunch features farm-fresh eggs, homemade yogurt, fresh seasonal fruit, mimosas, and much more. Its starts at 11 a.m. with a farm tour, followed by lots of eating at noon. If it's anything like her marvelous Dinner in Paradise events, we are in for a real treat.
