Mihajlov has been working hand-in-hand with M&A Cattle Co., a free-range, grass-fed cattle farm in Castlewood, Virginia. "I wanted people to know where their food is coming from," says co-owner of the farm, Andrew Stankus, "how it was raised and what they were fed. To help the people have confidence in their food once again."

Mihajlov co-owned and managed Chophouse in downtown Miami, but was bought out. The place quickly changed into a bright, shiny, disco-like, euro bistro -- which we all know is a totally new concept for Miami.
This time around, Mihajlov is dead-set on reviving his now flat-lined concept. "Really well made steak with an honest upbringing. That's the goal," he says.
When I asked him what will set Strip apart from every other steakhouse, he said without hesitation, "the steak." When asked about his biggest anticipated hurdle in this project he said, "Honestly, getting traffic from the populated west side of Brickell over here, to the east." He's hoping the food will lure patrons in on its own. After spending half a million dollars on renovations, he believes in the end, it will be all worthwhile.
Strip's enticingly modern interior will be a unique marriage of the past and the present. With risqué red backlit walls and wooden accents, it will be more reminiscent of the quintessential steakhouse in the 1950s, like sitting next to Dean Martin at the bar, except now he has an iPhone.
Plans for an opening date are not set in stone, but they are presently aiming for March 23. Located at the very front entrance of the Four Ambassadors on Brickell Bay, this new steakhouse hopes to serve steak with a side of truth, every night.
