SushiSamba's March For Brazil Includes $1 Oysters and $6 Caipirinhas

This month only: Brazilian specialties on the Peruvian-Japanese menu.

​You may, at this moment, be envisioning a SushiSamba marching band with shiny instruments stomping down Biscayne Boulevard -- banging drums, twirling batons, waving Brazilian flags, with maybe some scantily clad Rio-type dancers on moving platforms. Put this image out of your head.

By "March" we mean the month; "for Brazil" we mean that from Sundays through Thursdays, from 4 pm to 7 pm, for the next 24 days, SushiSamba dromo will be offering Brazilian food and drink specials along with cultural performances and celebrations. Chef Michael Bloise and his kitchen crew will be offering the following foods ($6 each) and drinks ($5 to $6):

Food
East and West coast oysters for $1 apiece.

For $6:
Pastéis (short ribs)
Camarão seviche
Crab croquettes
Beef anticuchos
Queijo coalho
São Paulo shrimp roll (shrimp tempura, queso fresco, cilantro, coconut sauce)

Drink
$5 Brazilian beers:
Palma Luca, a lager
Xingu, a black beer

$6 Caipirinhas (traditional and five other variations)

SushiSamba is always a spirited place to drink and dine. At these prices, it should become even more so.
