Memorial Day Weekend in Miami: Try These James Beard-Certified Dishes

Wouldn't you rather be having a nice meal?

Rain is forecast this Memorial Day weekend, so you might want to rethink those beach plans. Have a wonderful meal at one of Miami's best restaurants.

As an incentive, seven Miami establishments are participating in Serving Up James Beard. Participating restaurants feature a signature dish, with one dollar of the purchase price donated to the James Beard Foundation's silver anniversary scholarship drive.

To add to the fun, diners are encouraged to share their experiences via Twitter (@beardfoundation), using hashtag #servingupjamesbeard.
