Memorial Day Weekend in Miami: Try These James Beard-Certified Dishes
|Wouldn't you rather be having a nice meal?|
As an incentive, seven Miami establishments are participating in Serving Up James Beard. Participating restaurants feature a signature dish, with one dollar of the purchase price donated to the James Beard Foundation's silver anniversary scholarship drive.
To add to the fun, diners are encouraged to share their experiences via Twitter (@beardfoundation), using hashtag #servingupjamesbeard. Here's a list of the participating restaurants, their featured dish, and their Twitter account. Eat, tweet, and raise money for the James Beard foundation? Sounds a lot better than a sunburn or getting wet!
