| It all started with an artichoke. |
It all started with a grilled artichoke from Peacock Garden Cafe (number 100).
From there on we worked our way through everything from frozen hot chocolate spiked with vodka at Serendipity 3 (number 94) to tender octopus with potato foam at Barceloneta (number 22).
We've had fun eating our way through Miami's best dishes, be they at a restaurant filled with celebrities, as in the case of the peanut butter Snickers pie at Prime One Twelve (number 25), or at the Ms. Cheezious food truck for their bacon and blue (number 60).
But now, it's time to get serious...
Starting next week, we'll count down the top ten dishes in Miami. We've already made our choices. We won't disclose the winning plates yet, but the restaurants include such standard bearers as Michael's Genuine Food & Drink and Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill, as well as interesting eateries like SoBe's Tap Tap.
But enough about us. We want your choices. Of the top ten restaurants we've selected from all the dining options in Miami, which one do you think has the best dish? We've put together a poll, listing the restaurants that serve our favorite dishes. Voting starts now and will remain open until June 13 at 11:59 p.m. We'll reveal your choice on June 14, along with the restaurant (and dish) that made our number one spot.
