Shake Shack Opens in Coral Gables: Burgers, Concretes, and Crowds

|Shake Shack Coral Gables is now open.|
The Gables outpost opened its doors to the public Sunday, July 16, at 11 a.m. to an immediate line of loyal burger fans and curious locals wanting a bite.
Service was brisk all day at the new Shack, which seats about 100 patrons inside and 60 on the patio. Employees were sent outside to helpfully control traffic in the parking lot and point out spaces to drivers pulling in for restaurateur Danny Meyer's Shack burgers ($4.80 for a single, $7.35 for a double), flat-top dogs ($3 and up), and fries ($2.70).

Shake Shack Coral Gables is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
