| The Dutch has created a Miami Spice beverage menu. Drink up! |
With more than 150 restaurants participating in this year's Miami Spice program, The Dutch has found a way to stand out with their new Miami Spice beverage menu.
The restaurant's mixologist, Robert Ferrara and somelier, Nicholas Abuabara, have created a specially-priced selection of hand crafted cocktails, beers, and wines (both by the glass and bottle), designed to be paired with the Spice menu, which is available for both lunch and dinner from Sunday through Thursday until September 30. The cocktails are specially priced at $9 each and are available only with the Miami Spice menu ($39 dinner, $23 lunch).
Mixologist Robert Ferarra told Short Order that he and Abuabara wanted to find their own ways to embrace Miami Spice. "I made five cocktails that are not on our regular menu. I went all out, using fresh, local ingredients. I wanted a cocktail for everyone."
In addition to the five cocktails, Ferrara is offering two non-alcoholic "mocktails" ($5), a SoBe punch and a refreshing cucumber thyme lemonade, as well as Virgil's root beer ($4).
Abuabara's special Spice wine list includes selections starting at $25 per bottle and $7 per glass. There are five whites, six reds, a rose, and a Moscato D'Asti for dessert.
