So the Dolphins won their home opener yesterday for the first time since 2005: a 35-13 shellacking of the Oakland Raiders.

Short Order wasn't disappointed at the Miami Dolphins first home game Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. Why haul a grill off the back of a truck when you can make the grill the back of the truck? And there were lobster tails and steamed clams, too.

Besides the standard and variations on hot dogs and hamburgers, we saw a lot of ribs and strip steak. One group brought about 30 different hot sauces to go along with kielbasa's and other sausages. Another celebrated a birthday with a Dolphins cake and four giant racks of ribs. Not impressed? Then head over to the folks with the tasty beer-steamed clams. No matter what the method, Dolfans made sure to do it up right.

If you didn't make it to the first tailgate of the year, in addition to the Dolphins actually winning, here is what else you missed.

These guys are either geniuses, or have way too much time on their hands.

We were right the first time, with a dozen lobsters in there, they are definitely geniuses. Anyone can add a grill to their hitch, Jimmy Buffett's Maragaritaville sells the kit online for $240.

Along with his kebabs, this guy was quick to show us his sausage when we told him we were with the New Times. We started getting worried when we kept seeing him behind us. Got the hell out of there.

Meet Clark H, another proud Dolphins fan.

Nothing really tops beer-steamed clams. Want a real adventure? Take down that left over beer on the bottom of the pan.

Did you miss NFL Sunday Countdown or The Sports Reporters on the sport fan messiah of a channel ESPN? These guys got you covered with this nifty dish setup. Is that Colleen Dominguez?
