Midtown's New Bar Louie to Offer Free Martinis, Appetizers as Part of Opening Promo
As if it weren't already hard enough to decide where to eat and drink amidst Midtown's many options - it's about to get even tougher with the addition of Bar Louie, a tavern-esque concept known for handcrafted martinis and American comfort food.

The new addition plans to open its doors on November 8th in the Shops at Midtown Miami. The popular chain's Midtown locale is their third opening in the Florida market this year alone.
Serving a full menu from open till close, Bar Louie positions itself as a catch-all watering hole for happy hour groups, business luncheons and late night bites.
While the menu will be identical to the other locations (you can check one out here), the booze will be where the differences lie.

"I think the uniqueness will come from our draft beer selection, and maybe some unique liquors that might be local. We'll have at least 20 draft beers on tap. We try to make sure that we find some really great local microbrews and craft beers," said Ashley Kouns, Marketing Manager for Bar Louie.
They also offer 14 specialty martinis like the S'mores: Absolut Vanila, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, toasted marshmallow syrup, cream, marshmallows and chocolate syrup with a graham cracker rim; and the Effen Good: Effen Cucumber, mint, fresh lime juice, cucumber and agave nectar.

Their food menu includes classics like spinach and artichoke dip, burgers and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches as well as more unique fare like Bavarian pretzel sticks, truffle butter popcorn and Tennessee whiskey cake.
The chain, originally started as a small tavern on Chicago Ave (in its namesake city) has blown up over the last few years.
"It was a cult classic instantly within the downtown Chicago neighborhood," Kouns said.
But the best part about this new addition? On November 12th through 18th, they'll be offering a "Go Big" promotion. Monday through Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m., guests can come in and score any of their martinis (sign me up for the S'mores) and small plates (appetizers) free. You heard right. On the house. Gratis. No dinero required.
That's one hell of a welcome present, wouldn't you say?
The new addition is taking root at 3201 N. Miami Ave. They plan to open on November 8, and the Go Big promotion kicks off on November 12.
