Three New British-Inspired Spots to Open in Brickell

While Mare Nostrum and the Lucky Clover might have recently left Brickell, you can't keep good real estate down for long. Not one, not two - but a trio of European-inspired hotspots are moving on in.

Nobu veteran Santiago Rodriguez is opening The Hoxton, Boxpark, and Harvey Wolf, in quick succession. They'll reportedly offer three unique atmospheres, each derived from the theme of "comfortable European socializing over delicious drinks, great food, and good company."

They're described as follows: "The Hoxton, an 'Urban Beach House,' features traditional New England fare housed in a cozy, Hamptons-style setting; Boxpark provides an intimate restaurant environment, complete with communal and in-kitchen seating; and Harvey Wolf, a dark, seductive lounge, rounds out the trio, offering live entertainment throughout the week."

The spots are all said to be influenced by Rodriguez's travels, particularly his experience in Shoreditch, London.

Rodriguez hails from Northern Spain, and worked his way up the Nobu chain from bartender to director of operations. From there, he decided to launch the Vassili Group and open his own venue(s) here in Miami.

As for their close proximity, Rodriguez hopes patrons will hop from one venue to another -- bar to restaurant to lounge. The trio even share backdoor corridors. Handy!

While the full menus haven't been finalized yet, the above picture is of a meatball grinder and hand cut fries, an item from The Hoxton's lineup. They'll be opening on October 16 at 1111 SW 1st Avenue, followed soon thereafter by the November/early December openings of Boxpark and Harvey Wolf, at the same address.

So get ready Brickell, the British (inspired) invasion is coming.
