Miami Heat Season Opener Party with Mario Chalmers With the pre-season well underway and a decent start for the Heat, Miami basketball fans owe it to themselves for some Baby Chalms time. Chalmers himself is hosting a party in honor of the beginning of basketball season and a portion of the proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami. Tickets at $30.
Tertulia's Seamus Mullen Speaks at Book Fair: For the literary epicure, the Miami Book Fair International has a wide list of cookbook and general food book authors ready and waiting to start a conversation.
