Beck's Sapphire: Beer is the new black.

Anheuser-Busch InBev has launched its new Beck's Sapphire beer in a big way. The new brew was launched on New Year's eve at select parties around Miami-Dade including the W South Beach, Haven Gastro Lounge, and The Forge, and is now available at select stores.

The beer, offered in a sexy black bottle, gets its name from the rare German Sapfir hops used in its making.

The result is a smooth six percent ABV pilsner that joins Beck's four other beers including traditional Beck's, Beck's Dark, Beck's Premiere Light, and the non-alcoholic version of the brand.

To celebrate the launch of the Sapphire beer, Beck's is opening a pop-up at 1100 Lincoln Road in South Beach. The pop-up, scheduled to open on January 16, will be around for about two weeks.
